I am always looking for INSPIRING QUOTES with the purpose of encouraging others as well to do so.

Today the INSPIRING QUOTE comes from Christopher Moore as he discusses the idea of why it seems that children much more than adults seem to enjoy the wonders of magic more so than adults normally

Author Christopher Moore within his book published in 2004 titled “Lamb”, he talks about the story of Jesus Christ’s childhood through the eyes of Jesus’ fictional boyhood friend Biff. Early on in that story, Bill tells the readers, “Children see magic because they look for it.

He then goes on and recounts how Jesus ‘shone like a bloom in the dessert. But maybe I only saw it, because I was looking for it and to everyone else, he seemed like just another child.’

The book is written for adults and because of that, this line seems almost like an invitation. We were all children once, perhaps, as adults, we may still see magic if we look for it.”

How many times in your life travels have you been looking or thinking about something and wondering how it happened or why, when a child would come along and look or think about the same thing and see the magic in all that was happening or about to happen.

We must indeed, many times each year, month, week or even sometimes a day, take a moment with something which we are wondering how or why it happened and close our eyes and think of what we would be seeing if we were once again just a child.

It will be in that moment when you most likely will smile and find complete joy in something spontaneous.

If not, then take a moment while spending your time with the Great Spirits next time to ask them for guidance on how to look, watch or do somethings with the magical spirit of a child.
